Rev. Carter McInnis, Lead Pastor - carter@ifoundtheway.com What do you need to know about me? I love Jesus, and I love people. That′s pretty much the reason why I do what I do. I believe that God has incredible plans for our lives if we follow Him. I believe that we will get the most out of life if we embrace exactly who He created us to be. I know it′s not always easy to get there. My passion is helping people get there. That′s why I felt called to start this church called The Way. I also love my family, my incredible wife, Emily, and our four wild boys, Morgan, Tanner, Walker, and Brooks. I grew up in South Carolina, but my family is mostly from Georgia, and this place is in my blood. I love living here – in this state and in this community. I′ve been in ministry since 2000, and life at Church of The Way is by far the most exhilarating ride in all those years. I am passionate about my faith, family, helping people find The Way to God, music, good food (including Mello Yello & Sweet Tea), and sports (mostly jogging and college football). Tim Gustavson, Worship Director - tim@ifoundtheway.com Yes, it's Tim Gustavson - strange visitor from another planet who came to Earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men. Well, not really. I'm a goofball that spends a lot of time trying to play guitar. My beautiful family consists of my wife Beth and two boys Caleb and Stephen. My professional background is in health education and non-profit administration. Growing up, my mother was a church pianist. So worshipping God through music was a constant practice in our home. My musical heritage beyond that is a bit muddy, a series of awful garage bands making a racket around the Atlanta bar scene and other dens of iniquity. Since August of 2007, I've cleaned up my act and started making a racket at Church of the Way. In all seriousness, we are commanded to worship God and it is my honor as well as my pleasure to serve God by coordinating the music at Church of the Way. My goal is to ensure that the worship experience is always a sincere expression of praise and is designed to bring new people to Christ. |

Dorothy Harden, Prayer & Care Pastor - dorothy@ifoundtheway.com God literally called me out of Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church in early 2005 to help start CHURCH OF THE WAY with these words from Isaiah 30:2: "This is The Way. Walk in it." I have been so blessed to serve and worship with an awesome group of people. I consider it a responsibility and privilege to pray with and for others. God has taught me so much about the power of prayer and His desire to communicate with us and take us deeper in our relationship with Him through prayer. I have experienced His love and grace over and over through my life experiences and believe that He has a plan and purpose for each of our lives. I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, and have lived in this area for the last 34 years. I have been blessed with a loving husband of 36 years, Barry, and a son, Robert. God has multiplied my blessings with the additions of a precious grandson, Christian, a beautiful daughter-in-law, Tiffany, and a sweet granddaughter, Delia. |

Heather Haynes, LIFE Group Pastor - heather@ifoundtheway.com I love being a part of CHURCH OF THE WAY . I also really enjoy eating, and any place that can roll connecting with God and awesome snacks into every Sunday morning is a place I want to be…especially when I can wear jeans (or sweat pants) and know that God’s going to show up regardless. My background is in school counseling, and I truly believe in the power of relationships, ultimately between each of us as individuals with our Creator, but also between all of us as human beings. I think CHURCH OF THE WAY is a great place to build both. In my free time, I enjoy eating great food that was prepared by someone else, catching up on my “tivo-ed” television shows, watching college football, and spending time with my husband, Ben, and kids, Harris and Hadley. |

Ashley Baker, Children’s Pastor - ashley@ifoundtheway.com I believe that children should be as excited to come to church as they are with anything else they do in their week. I know that in the world that we live in with so much else for kids to do that is a pretty tall order but I believe that we can make it happen. As the newest member of the team at The Way let me say my family and I are very excited to be here. My husband Scott and I have been married for almost 10 years and have two amazing boys Noah and Isaac and a precious daughter, Maggie. Our favorite place to be is Disney World but when we can’t be there we enjoy college football, baseball and planning our next trip to Disney World. |

Jason Bunzey, Technical Director - bunzey@ifoundtheway.com I joined CHURCH OF THE WAY as the sound guy at the beginning, and it's been a learning experience ever since. I joined the staff in June of 2007 and haven't looked back. I've made some great friends and love having the opportunity to help lead people to Jesus. My wife Marie and I welcomed our first child, Savannah, in December of '07 and look forward to raising her in "The Way." |

Kathy Peterson, Graphic Designer - kathy@ifoundtheway.com I joined the staff at CHURCH OF THE WAY in Summer 2005 as Ministry Assistant to Carter and Staff Graphic Designer. I have not only had the pleasure of witnessing the birth of The Way, but also the many people it has touched since then. What a blessing it is to see the growth and passion in the people, the message, and the ministry. I have been married to Ted, my #1 blessing, for 28 years, and we have two awesome sons—one who is a 2010 graduate from the University of Tennessee (Go Vols! Sorry, Carter…) and another who is attending Kennesaw State University. My family is what fills my heart on a daily basis. We are active members of the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville (The Way’s mother church) and have lived in Lawrenceville for over 20 years. |

Gail Pulliam, Ministry Assistant - gail@ifoundtheway.com I joined the staff at CHURCH OF THE WAY in January 2008. I am blessed with my husband, John, and our two beautiful daughters, ages 11 and 8. I love fitness, running, cooking and anything to do with health/nutrition. Most of all I love to see God’s hand at work in the lives of others, and I’m so excited to be a part of God’s team at The Way. My family and I have been active members of FUMC Lawrenceville for the last 16 years. |
